** What unit sizes do you have?
The unit size you require can vary greatly depending on the size of your furniture, how high you can stack boxes (our units have 9' - 12' ceilings), and other variables. Please refer to our storage sizing guide or give us a call as we have a large variety of unit sizes that can customize your needs and save you money. This site includes a list of standard sizes only.
** Can I bring my own Lock?
Valley Rose Self Storage units are designed for a State-Of-The-Art high security cylinder lock. It is mandatory to purchase one at a discounted price.
** What is a roll-up door?
Roll-up doors are like garage doors – they roll up overhead for easy access. They are usually wider than swing doors and are easier to move things in and out.
** What is the difference between an indoor facility and an outdoor drive-up?
Indoor facility units are protected from the elements and the facility provides broad hallways, freight elevators, and a cool clean environment.
** How far in advance can I reserve a storage unit?
You can reserve your unit up to 30 days before you move in.
** Do you rent units month-to-month or do I have to sign a lease?
Valley Rose Self Storage offers month to month, as well as, long-term contracts. There is a one month minimum.
** How do I pay my storage Rent?
Valley Rose Self Storage offers three convenient ways to pay.
Choose AutoPay- Enroll in person at Valley Rose Self Storage– the rest is up to us. Each month when your rent is due we will automatically debit your bank account or charge your VISA®, MasterCard® or Discover® credit card. Your receipt is then sent to you either by email or postal mail. Pay by mail - Mail your payment to Valley Rose Self Storage. Please include your storage unit number on your check or money order. Pre-addressed payment envelopes are available. For the facility's address click here. Pay in person - Pay your rent at Valley Rose Self Storage facility with cash, check or credit card.
** Do I need to give you notice when I move out?
Yes. A written notice is advised so we can ensure you do not incur unnecessary charges; however, the more advance notice you can provide the better. On the day of your move out, make sure you have removed all of your belongings, trash and your lock. Sign a Vacate Release form in the Office and you're Done!
** When can I access my storage unit?
Valley Rose Self Storage allows access to storage units 7 days a week.
** What is the difference between access hours and office hours?
Access hours: Access is allowed to storage units. Office hours: Manager is available to provide in-person customer service (like answering questions, selling supplies, accepting rental payments and so on).
** If I rent a storage unit from you, can my spouse, kids or friend have access, too?
When you rent at Valley Rose Self Storage you control who can access your unit. As long as you gave them your Security Code and a key to the Cylinder Lock they may have access.
** I lost my key and/or Keypad card, what do I do?
See your Valley Rose Self Storage Manager for assistance during office hours.
** What about Insurance on my stored goods?
You are responsible for the items you are storing at Valley Rose Self Storage. Affordable Storage Insurance is available through Bader Insurance at our facility.
(You may be covered under an insurance policy you already have. Check with your insurance agent to be sure.)
** What kind of documentation do I need to provide to rent a storage unit?
You will need to provide a valid, government-issued picture identification (e.g., driver’s license, state ID or passport).
** Do you have handcarts or dollies I can use at your facilities?
Yes. You’re welcome to use our complimentary carts, furniture dollies, and mattress carts while you’re at Valley Rose Self Storage.
** If I do not rent storage, can I still purchase storage and moving supplies?
Yes. Valley Rose Self Storage sells top-quality moving and storage supplies like boxes, tape, protective wrap, furniture covers, dish-packs, glass-packs and more. You don’t need to be a storage customer to buy supplies.
** What is your policy on refunds?
With a valid receipt, we will gladly accept unused or unopened items as returns up to 30 days from the date of purchase.
** How do I return these items for refund?
Simply bring your unused or unopened items to Valley Rose Self Storage and we will process your refund.
Some refunds may be paid by company check within 14 days, depending on the amount of refund.
